Atractaspis boulengeri, or the Central African burrowing asp, is a species of venomous snake in the Atractaspididae family.[1] It is endemic to Africa.[2] The specific epithet, boulengeri, is in honor of Belgian-British herpetologist George Albert Boulenger.
